Knuckles concept sprite

Concept sprite for Knuckles. Knux has been my fave Sonic character since he was introduced it's a shame he doesn't get as much attention as he deserves, overshadowed by the influx of other hedgehogs. I kinda feel like they did him the same way DBZ did Piccolo to start featuring the Saiyons more.

pallet swaps are loosely based on other Sonic characters except the last which is just thrown together to make an eighth. The 7th one's skin came form some of Knuckles ancestor guardians who have brown skin while his shoes are based off of how his sprite looked in Sonic 3.

I was going to do one based off of Vector but I have other plans for green so it won't be in the pallets.
Can anybody guess what character each pallet is based off of.
